There is a way of living the Aeolian Islands that feels like another era: aboard a classic schooner, with white sails and a wooden deck. MIMAY is a 21.30-metre classic schooner, fully rebuilt in Italy, sailing from Capo d’Orlando.
The yacht
- Three private cabins for up to six guests.
- A crew of four: captain, chef, hostess and deckhand.
- Private charter, exclusive use, for one week.
The food journey
Before boarding, guests decide with the chef which meals to have on board, the menus and the wines. There are no fixed packages: a dinner on board can become a dinner ashore, and vice versa.
The itinerary
The route is built with the guests and the captain, according to the sea. The classic stops: Vulcano and the Baia di Ponente, Lipari, Salina and its vineyards, Panarea and, at sunset, Stromboli erupting.
What is included
The rate includes yacht, crew, fuel, taxes and still water. Provisions and personalised experiences are extra.
2027 rates
- Low season (until 29 May, from 2 October): €16,000 per week.
- Mid season: €20,000 per week.
- High season (31 July – 21 August): €24,000 per week.
