Wardrobe space is limited, the sun is strong and in the evening, at anchor, a little wind can get up. Here is <strong>what to pack<\/strong> for a week on a crewed charter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-la-valigia-morbida-non-rigida\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Luggage: soft, not hard<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first rule is the bag itself. Hard suitcases are difficult to stow in a cabin; a soft bag folds up and disappears into a locker. If you arrive with more luggage, ask in advance: sometimes the crew can store some in a dedicated space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-vestiti-per-il-giorno\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Daytime clothes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Two or three swimsuits, so there is always a dry one.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Light cotton or linen T-shirts and shirts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shorts and a cover-up for going ashore.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A light long-sleeved shirt: it protects from the sun better than any cream.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-vestiti-per-la-sera\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Evening clothes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Even in summer, at anchor, evenings can be cool. Bring a sweatshirt or a light jumper and a pair of long trousers. For a dinner at a restaurant ashore, one smart but comfortable outfit is enough: on a boat the style is relaxed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-scarpe-meno-di-quante-pensi\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Shoes: fewer than you think<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On board you go barefoot: street shoes can damage the teak deck and are usually left at the entrance.
